Classic pet furniture shapes – reinvented
We first came across Marta and her brand HELLO PETS via her stylish Instagram account @hellopetsshop. With a background in design, Marta’s passion for the Bauhaus philosophy shines through her pet accessory collection. She’s reinvented classic shapes into new and playful pet furniture and home accessories. Marta creates her pet accessory collection in Poland where it is also handmade. We are very excited to have HELLO PETS on board and talk to Marta about her brand, her muse and inspiration.
Tell us about HELLO PETS!
We are a Polish pet accessory studio and create a unique pet accessory collection for people who value well-designed items as much as originality. For us, cat and dog products are fabulous decorative elements for the home, and we, therefore, design our collection following the latest trends.
Where are you from? What is your background?
We are from central Poland, from a city called Lodz. My name is Marta and I am the main designer and maker here at HELLO PETS. I have a background in design and have spent the past 13 years working across product and furniture design. I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and have a huge love for interior design – I think that’s why my collection includes a lot of pet furniture and home accessories.
What do you think is the best part of running a pet business?
I feel massively satisfied when I receive photos from our furry customers. It makes me really happy to see how my products are being used and accepted by cats and dogs alike. And by the humans of course!
Which furry muse gives you inspiration?
Brokat, my love. He’s a Jack Russell. You can see him in many photos in my social media. I am mostly inspired by his likes and needs and keep looking for trendy and interesting solutions to work for both, the home and the pet. We pay a lot of attention to detail and ensure we create comfortable and cute products. We make all of our pet accessory collection in Europe, here in Poland.
And finally, if a dog or cat owner asked you how to best pamper their pet. What would your advice be?
Diet’s very important. I’m not a fan of the idea of feeding dogs a vegetarian or vegan diet. I’m pretty sure that a good way to a dog’s heart is through his stomach.
Welcome on board Marta, we’re excited to be launching HELLO PETS in our shop. View the collection here.
